Yann Legendre is a French artist who has worked with more than 50 magazines, Disney, Universal Music, The Criterion Collection, Blue Note and many publishers. In 2017, Lucasfilm invited Yann to create a series of 25 illustrations to celebrate Star Wars 40th Anniversary. His work has been exhibited in more than 25 countries. He’s received the Gold Medal at the “3×3 Professional Show” in New York, the Gold Pencil at the “One Show” and Best Movie poster Award at the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX. His most recent illustrated books include “Grimm’s Fairy Tales” (Rockport), “Couture Conversations” (Rizzoli) and a monographie “À corps perdu” (Textuel) In 2019. His first graphic novel “Flesh Empire” has been published by Casterman in 2019. His second “Vega” has been published by Albin Michel in 2022 followed by “Dewi et ses sœurs” in 2025.
