So Sinopoulos-Lloyd

So Sinopoulos-Lloyd (they/them) is a queer field zoologist, educator, and author whose work explores the confluences of behavior, meaning, and communication across and within species. So specializes in the interpretation of animal tracks, sign, and trails, and promotes this ancient skillset as a minimally-invasive tool for biologists and beyond in wildlife research, community science, and local memory. So founded Queer Nature with their spouse Pinar, a project devoted to creating spaces for LGBTQ+ folks to learn place-based skills, and has more recently worked as a tracking technician on a Canada Lynx project with Home Range Wildlife Research in Washington state.
