Pınar Sinopoulos-Lloyd
Pınar Sinopoulos-Lloyd (they/it) is an Indigenous multi-species futurist, wildlife tracker, and anti-disciplinary artist-researcher. Enchanted by the liminal, Pınar is a mutation of landscapes from their Quechua mother and Turkish father. Co-founder of Queer Nature and an MFA candidate at the Institute of American Indian Arts, they explore the entanglements of Autistic phenomenology, psychiatric abolition, and Indigenous attachment theory. Their praxis, informed by wildlife tracking, basketweaving, and ecocultural fire, deepens their autotheory. In 2023, they became the first racialized Track & Sign Professional in Turtle Island. They reside on mətxwú lands, entangled with the shrubsteppe and beings they adore.
