Pierre Cassou-Noguès is a philosopher and writer. He is Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Paris VIII and a senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France. He is also co-editor of the journal SubStance published by John Hopkins Univ. Press. He has published several books in French that use fiction to explore the theoretical issues raised by contemporary technologies within an ecology of presence. He co-directed the films Welcome to Erewhon (2019) and Virusland (2022).
