Patrick J. Reed is a curator at Fulcrum Arts in Pasadena, California. Reed writes widely about contemporary art and culture with an interest in the language and visual representation of ecological disaster. At Fulcrum Arts, he oversees the online transmedia publishing platform, Sequencing, and conducts a research program exploring monumental works of “vanity engineering.” His writing has been published in ArtReview, ArtReview Asia, The Brooklyn Rail, Canvas: Art and Culture from the Middle East and Arab World, cura., and e-flux Criticism.
