Orkun Kasap

Orkun Kasap (he/him) works at the Professorship for Construction Heritage and Preservation in the Department of Architecture at ETH Zurich as an established researcher since 2020. Having studied architecture and urbanism in Turkey, Denmark and Switzerland, he received his MSc in Architecture from ETH Zurich in 2013 and his CAS in Urban Management from the University of Zurich in 2018. He has since worked in the intersection of architectural technology, urban design, heritage and monument preservation. His current research focuses on the built heritage of the social movements of the 1980s in Switzerland, with a particular focus on their intersection with minorities and marginalised groups.
