Lucía Cavallero

Lucía Cavallero holds a PhD in Social Sciences and Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires. Her doctoral research focuses on the relationship between debt, unpaid work, and violence. She teaches Feminist Economics at the National University of Tres de Febrero and the University of Avellaneda. She is co-author of  “A Feminist Reading of Debt”, published in Argentina by Tinta Limón (2019), in Brazil by Criação Humana Editora (2019), in Italy by Ombre Corte, and in English by Pluto Press (2021). She is also co-author with Verónica Gago of “The House as Laboratory: Finance, Housing, and Essential Work,” published in the United States by Common Notions. Her most recent book, “Against the Authoritarianism of Financial Freedom”, was published by Tinta Limón.
