Lea Maria Spahn
Lea Maria Spahn (D) is a feminist and phenomenological researcher interested in a posthumanist view on the social and the agency of all kinds of bodies. In her PhD, she addressed the aging body with an ethnographic approach and movement practice. Since 2021, she has worked at the intersection of art and education in movement as a lecturer for dance education and philosophies of movement at the Philipps University of Marburg where she focuses on aesthetic and performative research. Currently, she is also part of the EU-Horizon project „Transforming Education for Democracy through Aesthetic and Embodied Learning, Responsive Pedagogies and Democracy-as-becoming” (AECED). In her artistic work, she is interested in performative art in public spaces and participatory action for livable futures. She is a co-founder of the German-Czech Agronauts* Collective which works on aesthetic practices as politics of naturecultures.
