Laura Knight is Course Leader of  MA Communicating Complexity at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. The course is based on creative educational development, with a specific interest in creative data literacy and systems thinking. It empowers students to experiment with the role of visual communication in tackling global challenges. As a researcher, Laura applies a capabilities perspective within a systemic design approach to understand the capability of HEIs to respond to climate change; specifically the barriers and enablers of interdisciplinary climate change education in creative insitutions. Between 2018-2022, Laura led the Graduate Diploma in Graphic Design at Chelsea College of Arts where she focussed on the development of research-led practice in design. Prior to this, Laura taught at Kingston School of Art on the BA Graphic Design, the MA Graphic Design and the MA Sustainable Design.
