Julie Enckell Julliard
Julie Enckell Julliard holds a doctorate in art history (Lausanne, Poitiers), as well as a postgraduate certificate in curatorial studies from the Ecole supérieure des arts visuels de Genève (which later became the Master CCC at HEAD). She studied between Paris and Rome, where she was a member of the Swiss Institute. She then joined the museums as a curator of contemporary art and became the director of the Musée Jenisch Vevey (2013-2018). Author of several monographs (Pierrette Bloch, Thomas Hirschhorn, Ulla von Brandenburg, Jean-Luc Manz, etc.), she was member of the Federal Art Commission (2014-2021) and is in the committee of the Swiss Society of Graphic Arts (SGG). In 2018, she joined HEAD as Head of Cultural Development. At the same time, she devotes herself to writing, through collaborations with artists, art criticism or even more personal texts.
