Gary Farrelly

Gary Farrelly, an Irish artist based in Brussels, integrates performance, printmaking, textiles, drawing, and sound-based work into his practice. Recurring themes include infrastructure, conspiracy theory, and homoerotic depictions of male bodies, particularly evident in his Straighsploitation series. A graduate of NCAD in Dublin and LUCA School of Arts, as well as a.pass, an experimental platform for artistic research in Brussels, Farrelly lectures at La Cambre ENSAV in Brussels. Alongside Chris Dreier, he co-directs the Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence. Notably, Farrelly is supported with a bursary from the Arts Council of Ireland.
