Erica Ekrem has held multiple roles at For The Wild (2015–present), contributing to its creative direction and organizational development as well as the shaping of visual language across films, audio series, and print publications. She is an interdisciplinary artist and traditional bookbinder living in rural South Dakota (US). Her work centers on slow media, storytelling, and design practices rooted in ecological care and deep listening. She designs and handcrafts journals under the name LoomBound. She is the author of Bound (2015) and Bound by Hand (2018), with work featured in international book arts publications.
