Elizabeth Resnick is a globally recognized design educator and distinguished Professor Emerita, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston. She is an enthusiastic curator having organized seven comprehensive design exhibitions, including the exhibition Women’s Rights Are Human Rights: International Posters on Gender-based Inequality, Violence, and Discrimination. Her recent publications are Women Graphic Designers, Bloomsbury Visual Arts (2025), The Social Design Reader, Bloomsbury Visual Arts (2019), Developing Citizen Designers, Bloomsbury Academic (2016) and Design for Communication: Conceptual Graphic Design Basics, John Wiley & Sons Publishers (2003). She was awarded the 2025 AIGA Design Medal in recognition for her decades-long career as an educator, curator, and author.
