Eleanor Tapping is a literary translator and researcher based between Brooklyn, New York and Paris, France. She earned her B.A. in Comparative Literature from Brown University and is set to begin a master’s program in comparative and French literature in Paris in 2026. She is interested in the theory and politics of translation and in ideologies of linguistic nationalism in the francophone world.
