Dori Midnight is a writer, community care worker and ritual artist. For over two decades, Dori has crafted rituals, spells, and potions, and practiced intuitive healing in one-on-one sessions and in radical movement spaces.  Dori was ordained as an interfaith minister from the New Seminary in New York City in 2005. Her writing has appeared in numerous publications and anthologies including For Times Such as These (Wayne State University Press, 2023), Questions to Ask Before Your Bat Mitzvah (Wendy’s Subway, 2022), A Confluence of Witches (Weiser Books 2024), and Witch: Anthology (Dopamine Books, 2025). Dori is the editor of a forthcoming book of radical prayers, due out in Spring 2027. She is part of movements for Palestinian liberation, prison abolition, and queer and trans liberation based in racial and economic justice. Dori lives in Western Massachusetts with her two kids, two cats, and a garden full of flowers.
