Annette Jael Lehmann is Professor of Contemporary Art, Visual Culture, and Theater at the Institute for Theater Studies, Freie Universität Berlin. Her work has a strong inter- and cross-disciplinary focus, with practice-based collaborations across academia, art, and cultural institutions. Her research spans performance art, feminist visual culture, environmental art, and the relationship between universities and museums. She is cofounder and PI of metaLAB(at) Harvard/Berlin/Basel.
