Àngels Miralda is a writer and curator. Her interests lie in the topics of landscape and identity based on the hidden symbolism of materials. From theories of neomaterialism to art historical and speculative archeologies, her writings and exhibitions reference traces of the past in contemporary retellings. She has worked on large-scale biennials and festivals such as the Contemporary Biennial TEA in Tenerife, Curated By Vienna, and two editions of Something Else Off-Biennial in Cairo. She curated two editions in a row of Survival Kit in Riga in 2018 and 2019 where she first worked with Bita Razavi. In 2021 and 2022 she collaborated with Razavi as an advisor and writer for the Estonian Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale.
